I worked at the Arboretum for about 3 years in the mid-90’s as a Senior Gardener and was able to remodel the front entrance gardens including the area along Baldwin Avenue and the Parking Lot area. I enjoyed my time there and learned a great deal about hands on gardening and maintenance as well as hanging out with all the plant fanatics.

They are a non-profit organization that meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7:30pm at Friendship Hall on Riverside Drive in the Los Feliz area with a different speaker on a variety of topics always with great slide shows and a Plant Raffle sponsored by a local nursery and a Plant Forum where people bring in their latest and greatest flowering and non-flowering plant cuttings for discussion.
